At a function organized at the Government Primary School, Chelan Block, Samrala-I, uniforms were distributed to 36 poor students from the Sikligar community. These uniforms were given away by members of the Guru Nanak International Education Trust -Dr. Partap Singh and Sukhdev Singh. Students were also given shoes by Balbir Singh from Chandigarh.
Narinder Pal Verma, headmaster of Governmnet high School, Ghulal and his mother Smt. Raksha Devi gave a donation of Rs. 5,000 to Government Primary School, Chelan in commemoration of the first death anniversary of Shri Ramji Das Verma.
Centre Incharge Manjit Kaur thanks all donors. Niranjan Singh B.P.E.O and Harban Singh B. R. P. were also present during the function.
